“Crash Course” Level 1 : ‘Assessment & Treatment – Front & Rear Impacts’

Description: This two-day workshop provides massage therapists with the knowledge and practical skills to confidently assess and treat clients recovering from motor vehicle accidents (MVAs). Through a combination of theory, case studies, and hands-on practice, participants will gain a deeper understanding of injury mechanisms, stages of healing, and treatment strategies.
Course Overview:
- Level 1: Assessment & Treatment – Front & Rear Impacts
In this foundational module, you’ll gain the skills necessary to assess and treat injuries resulting from both front and rear impact vehicle collisions. The course covers the biomechanics of these impacts, assessment methods, and therapeutic strategies to address soft tissue injuries and restore function. Pain management, client education, and guidance on working collaboratively with other healthcare providers are also included. Real-world case studies will give you the hands-on experience needed to deliver personalized care that supports your patients’ recovery from collision-related injuries.
This is a 2-day course. Each day will start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. There will be 2 15-minute breaks and a 45-60 minute lunch break each day.
